White Linen, Whitby is the perfect choice for a visit to North Yorkshire’s scenic coast. We have four traditionally furnished rooms and a contemporary loft bedroom.
Short Breaks: Our Speciality
We offer week-end breaks and week-time short breaks of 2 or 3 nights duration. Our minimum stay is 2 nights and our check-in days are Monday and Friday. If you try to check-in on other days, unfortunately ‘the computer will say no’.
We offer self-serviced accommodation on a room-only basis.
What do we mean by ‘self-serviced’?
Privacy is a priority – once you check in to your room then it’s your private space for the duration of your stay. If you want to stay in bed until midday then that’s fine by us! You won’t be disturbed by a cleaner! We will only enter your room by invitation or in the event of an emergency such as a plumbing leak or a fire. But please don’t think that we’ll ignore you or abandon you. On your arrival you will find in your room an ample supply of linen, toiletries and refreshments, sufficient for the duration of your stay. Our change-over days are Monday and Friday. If you combine two short breaks to give a longer stay then we will be happy to service your room mid-stay – we will confirm the arrangements for this when you arrive.
What do we mean by ‘room-only’?
In a nutshell we don’t offer breakfast. We have numerous excellent cafes and restaurants within a short walk which gives our guests the opportunity to enjoy a lie-in and the breakfast of their choice, at a time of their choice.
