The guests’ entrance to White Linen Whitby is on Bagdale, adjacent to the pedestrian crossing and directly opposite Bagdale Hall Hotel.
Parking
The White Linen provide Whitby parking scratch cards for the duration of our guests stay. The scratch cards entitle guests to free on-street parking in the Whitby W zones when the scratch card is on display in their vehicle.
The parking scratch card will be in your key locker at the rear of the property on your arrival, however we can offer no guarantees of the availability of free parking.
Zone W parking areas in Whitby are restricted to residents and their guests. The nearest Zone W parking areas are the first half of St Hilda’s Terrace and Back St Hilda’s Terrace.
The main Zone W parking streets are highlighted on a parking map, we will provide you with a copy of the main Zone W map in your key locker at the rear of the property on your arrival.
The closest town-centre long-stay, pay and display car park is at Endeavour Wharf opposite the Co-op / Railway Station, about 400 metres away (you can’t miss it as it is adjacent to the tall ship replica of HM Bark Endeavour).
There is free unrestricted on-street parking on Chubb Hill and Spring Vale.
You can download a Scarborough Borough Council map of parking zones by clicking this link. Please note that the SBC map uses both ORANGE and BLUE to show zone W streets. Your guests’ parking permit will allow you to park in the orange or blue areas (see the map below).
Quick Luggage drop off
While you collect your keys, parking permit, street map and drop your belongings into your room you are welcome to leave your vehicle temporarily in the car port while you place your luggage in your room.
Enter the building through the back door using the Yale key then follow the signs to your room.
However, after this, please use the main front entrance situated on Bagdale Road and use the parking permit provided to park your vehicle within the W zones of Whitby, as per the information overleaf.
(24 Bagdale Road can be found by walking from the car port, down towards the church,
turn right and you will find the front entrance just past the pedestrian crossing)
Entering the building for the Remainder of Your Stay
To gain entry into the building for the remainder of your stay, please use the front, main entrance located on Bagdale Road,your key fob, when scanned will gain your entrance to the building.
